Deadlines that must be met by law:
- within 7 calendar days from the date of submission, communicate to the applicant the details of the publication of the information
- within 7 calendar days of the date of submission, ask the applicant to clarify the information requested
- if the ÚFE (contact person) does not receive clarifying information from the applicant, it will reject the application within 30 calendar days from the submission of the application
- the applicant is informed of the postponement of the application within 3 calendar days of its postponement, but at the latest within the time limit set by law for the processing of the application
- the requested information is provided by the obliged entity within a basic time limit of 15 calendar days from the submission of the request
- the period of 15 calendar days may be extended by a maximum of 10 calendar days, i.e. to 25 calendar days, only for serious reasons, which are:
- searching and collecting required information in other departments,
- a request for a voluminous amount of separate and distinct information in a single application,
- the need to consult another obliged entity (or two or more components of an obliged entity) which has a substantial interest in the subject matter of the request
- the extension of the basic time limit and the reasons for it shall be notified to the applicant within 15 calendar days
- the deadline for the applicant to appeal is 15 calendar days from the delivery of the decision.
- If the total amount of the payment for the provision of information is at least CZK 100, the provision of information is conditional upon payment of the required fee. If the applicant fails to pay the fee within 60 days from the date of notification of the amount of the requested fee, the ÚFE shall postpone the request.
