The scientific goal of this joint project is to develop a fast and efficient modelling framework for the theoretical study of two-dimesnional magneto-optical photoni crystals. In the second step this developed tool will be employed to design and optimizenovel integrated non-reciprocal magnetooptical circuits based on a photonic crystals layout. Within the experimantal part of the project the developed models will be validated by characterization of fabricated prototypes of novel non-reciprocal photoniccrystals circuits.
