Jakub Cajzl won the SPIE award

The seventh annual international conference Photonics Prague 2014 was held at the Clarion congress hotel in Prague from August 27 – 29, 2014. Jakub Cajzl, MSc. was awarded the SPIE – Certificate of Excellence – for 3rd best conference presentation. The presentation focused on the topic Characterization of fluorescence lifetime of Tm-doped fibers with increased quantum conversion efficiency. Some of the measurements were carried out in collaboration with the institute of ORC Southampton in the UK.
