ICTON is one of the leading international conferences focused on optical communication networks, photonics, and related technologies. Every year, it attracts experts from academia and industry from around the world and provides a platform for presenting the latest research results, sharing experiences, and establishing new international collaborations. The conference program traditionally includes a main conference and thematic workshops focusing on topics such as optical networks, photonic technologies, data centers, quantum communication, and new approaches to data transmission in optical systems. There will also be a workshop dedicated to laser technologies in connection with the large LasApp project co-financed by the EU.
The ICTON 2026 conference is co-organized by the Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
