In the Patriotic Hall, the Rector&#8217;s Awards for the best graduates of Charles University, the Extraordinary Rector&#8217;s Awards and the Bolzano Prize supporting scientific education and training of Charles University students were presented.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Bolzano Prize<\/strong>\u00a0for outstanding scientific achievement in the natural science category was received\u00a0by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/marketa-bockova\">RNDr. Mark\u00e9ta Bockov\u00e1, Ph.D.<\/a>\u00a0from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics for dissertation in the field of chemical and macromolecular physics.\u00a0<em>&#8220;I really appreciate the award, but it is also a success for our whole team, because all the results and publications that are part of my dissertation are the work of the whole team,&#8221;<\/em> commented Mark\u00e9ta Bockov\u00e1 after the ceremony, who continues as a postdoctoral fellow at \u00daFE in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/team\/optical-biosensors\">Optical Biosensors research team<\/a>.\u00a0In an interview with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iforum.cuni.cz\/IFORUMENG-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iForum<\/a>, Charles University online magazine, Mark\u00e9ta Bockov\u00e1 says: &#8220;Watching the interaction of molecules in the blood serum is like sitting in a middle of a stadium.&#8221; (Read the whole interview\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iforum.cuni.cz\/IFORUM-16886.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The Bolzano Prize for Outstanding Scientific Achievement was awarded in the natural science category, the biomedical category, and the social science category.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The scientist from the Optical Biosensors research team Mark\u00e9ta Bockov\u00e1 won the Bolzano Prize at the award ceremony for the best students and graduates of the Charles University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":8480,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[51],"tags":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18777"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=18777"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18777\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/8480"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=18777"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=18777"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=18777"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
