He competed and won the first prize, the Day with a Scientist, at the November Open Days of the Institute of Electrical Engineering. He could choose which research team he would spend a day with in our institute. He chose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufe.cz\/en\/research\/synthesis-and-characterization-of-nanomaterials\/\">Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials<\/a> and visited us this week.<\/p><p>Maty\u00e1\u0161 tested the scientist&#8217;s work for himself. He witnessed how the solution is prepared, tried himself the preparation of the substrate by chipping a silicon wafer on which a thin germ layer is applied from the solution.
