At the Czech Optical Cluster<\/a> stand we presented our teams and the results of their research. We also presented the LasApp project: Breakthrough Laser Technologies for Smart Manufacturing, Space and Bio-Tech Applications<\/a>, and other partners were at the same stand.<\/p>

\u00daFE presented record-breaking fiber laser results at the concurrent CLEO-Europe congress. Pavel Honz\u00e1tko<\/a> gave an invited talk at the CLEO-Europe congress on our fiber optics for 2-micron fiber lasers, including all-fiber thulium lasers in the >100 W class with the highest differential efficiencies at the time. Jan Pokorn\u00fd<\/a> presented a holmium fiber laser at 2.1 micron wavelength with the highest output power and highest efficiency ever demonstrated in a core-pumped configuration. B\u00e1ra \u0160vejkarov\u00e1<\/a> was involved in another record-breaking experiment: at the Optoelectronic Research Centre at the University of Southampton, they broke the limits of thulium-doped fibres with a standard outer diameter of 125 microns and obtained an output power of 272 W thanks to the structured fiber core.<\/p>

Czech optics was strongly represented at the prestigious Laser World of Photonics 2025, which took place in Munich from 24 to 27 June.
