This research was based on the results of previous basic research on fluorescence fiber optic sensors. The new device is designed for the detection of pH in the usual biology and medicine range, ie 5.5 &#8211; 7.5 in real time with a repeatability around pH 0.1. Unlike similar commercially available devices, it can measure samples with a spatial resolution better than 50 \u03bcm and a minimum volume of 5 \u03bcl.
