The ceremonial appointment took place at our institute, attended by members of the current leadership and heads of research teams. Also present was Ilona M\u00fcllerov\u00e1, Vice Chair and member of the Presidium of the Academic Council of the Czech Academy of Sciences.<\/p>

Mark\u00e9ta Bockov\u00e1<\/a> works at \u00daFE in the Optical Biosensors<\/a> research team, where she has long been engaged in research on plasmonic affinity biosensors and their use in the analysis of biomolecular interactions and the detection of chemical and biological substances, with an emphasis on their applications in medicine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Mark\u00e9ta Bockov\u00e1, Ph.D., becomes the new director of the Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, effective October 1, 2026.
