We organized the 4th annual seminar on Critical Infrastructure Protection

On 8 December 2023, the 4th annual seminar on Critical Infrastructure Protection with Laser Technologies, organized within the framework of the AV21 Strategy (Light in the Service of Society Programme), took place at our Institute.

Its aim was to map the use of lasers in the protection of critical infrastructures and to identify weak points in optical networks.

The workshop featured 7 presentations that covered fiber laser power for defense purposes, quantum communications and the use of fiber optics in radiation dosimetry, geosensing, acoustic wave sensors.
