Fiber-optic pH meter for microscopic biological samples

The goals of the project are, the design and realization of optical pH meter suitable for measurement in biological samples (pH-range from cca 5.5 to 7.5) at a microscopic scale (resolution below 50 micrometers), which is not currently available either on the domestic or world market, and enhancement of cooperation between academic institution (Institute of Photonics and Electronics AS CR, v.v.i.) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SQS Vlaknova optika a.s. and Safibra, s.r.o.).
