Radan Slavik, PhD., DSc. received a special honorary mention

Radan Slavík, PhD, DSc. from the Photonics Section received a special honorary mention from the Chairman of the GACR for the project "Tunable active fibre elements based on long-period fibre gratings".

In the refectory of the Professional House of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague, the Awards of the President of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GACR) were presented to the best research teams. The award ceremony was attended by the chairmen of the evaluation panels of the Czech GACR, members of the Council for Research, Development and Innovation, representatives of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, universities, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and representatives of the press.
