Introduction to the lecture:
In this talk, Prof. Sazonov will present a high-level overview of current advances in wearable sensors and artificial intelligence for precision nutrition. The lecture will address how digital technologies can support objective measurement of diet, eating behavior, and personalized responses to food, and will also highlight open problems and future directions in the field.
Prof. Sazonov is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Alabama and leads the Computer Laboratory of Ambient and Wearable Systems. His research focuses on wearable devices, sensor-based behavioral informatics, biomedical signal processing, and pattern recognition.
