Discover the world of nano optics and optical biosensors
How are cutting-edge scientific research conducted in sterile laboratories and technologies found in everyday medical practice connected? You can find out at the ÚFE booth at this year’s Science Fair.
We’ll introduce you to the world of nano optics and optical biosensors. You’ll learn, for example, how a standard school microscope differs from the state-of-the-art models used in research institutes, where you can pack a modern biosensor, and whether it’s possible to make a sensor chip out of chocolate.
We have also prepared a contest for visitors to win a day in the lab, during which you’ll have the chance to experience a day at a scientific research facility and get an up-close look at the work of a scientist.
Come visit us June 4–6 at the PVA EXPO Prague exhibition center in Letňany (Hall 2, Booth 6). Admission is free.
We look forward to seeing you!
About the Fair
The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, organized annually by the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2015. It explores science in all its forms and offers visitors the most interesting aspects of the natural sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences.
You can find the program of the fair on the official website: www.veletrhvedy.cz. You can see what our booth looked like last year here.
